Guardrails for Learning

In his book, Creating Innovators, Tony Wagner talks about creating different kinds of structures for learning. Our work revolves around structures that allow learners to invest in, collect evidence of, question, confirm, and share their learning. By encouraging learners to ask different kinds of questions, seek feedback from a range of different sources and perspectives, and monitor and assess their developing understanding, they grow to better recognize who they are as evolving learners, what they need to do to take their next step(s), and who they need on their learning team for any given task or project.
